It is important to note that no one can consent to harm that is more than trifling. In other words, even in a consent fight (which is legal) you cannot cause bodily harm because the law in Canada states that no one can consent to harm which is more than trivial. Generally, cuts requiring stiches, injuries with more than minor bleeding, and other such injuries qualify as “bodily harm”.
